Bath Spa Project Information

[B&NES]

Bath & North East Somerset have been advised that the leaks in the steam room floor in the Bath Spa are worse than at first thought and that the same problem may occur in other floors.
Councillor Nicole O’Flaherty said “We have been informed that we have another serious problem. We don’t know yet whether it is a design or construction fault but it is the responsibility of the architects to ensure that the building is constructed and passed to the Council completely up to standard and in full working order.

“Therefore we expect Nicholas Grimshaw & Partners to let us know without delay what they plan to do to put the problem right.

“We have not yet heard from Nicholas Grimshaw & Partners as to how they plan to put the problem right but we do expect this to cause further delay to the project.”
